C’est en 1988, les années lycée que Jean Michel semble s’intéresser de plus près au culturel, à la musique Gro Ka. Pratiquant de temps en temps l’école buissonnière pour aller écouter de-ci-delà à Pointe à pitre, les notes de tambour des maitres ka.

Auteur compositeur interprète du groupe Mas Ka Klé.
